On the Sunshine Coast

You’re Invited to Build with Us!

At Awake Nations, we’re not just starting a church—we’re building true spiritual family. Right here on the stunning Sunshine Coast, Lynn and I invite you to be part of a growing community where the presence of God is central, relationships run deep, and lives are formed for purpose.

This is more than a gathering. It’s a place where you’ll encounter Jesus, be equipped to walk in your calling, and find meaningful connection with others who are passionate about living out their faith. We believe God is raising up a people who won’t just attend church, but who will advance His Kingdom in every sphere of life.

If you’ve been sensing a pull for more—more of God, more clarity about your purpose, more authentic relationships—this may be the new beginning you’ve been waiting for. Whether you’re just starting out or have been on the journey for years, there’s space here for you to grow, serve, and be sent.

We’re forming a multi-generational family where every person is seen, known, and celebrated—not for performance, but for who they are in Christ. You don’t need to have it all figured out. Just bring your hunger for God and a heart ready to grow.

Come experience His presence. Discover your place. Help us advance the Kingdom—together.
We’d love to welcome you into the family.

Our Beliefs

We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is our final rule for faith, life, and ministry, revealing the nature, character, and will of God and equipping believers for every good work (2 Timothy 3:16-17). Scripture is not merely a collection of ancient texts but the living and active voice of God, speaking truth into every generation. We approach it with reverence, humility, and hunger—not simply to gain knowledge, but to encounter the One who authored it. The Bible is complete, sufficient, and trustworthy, providing divine wisdom for salvation, sanctification, and the advance of God's Kingdom. We are committed to studying, obeying, and proclaiming the Word in the power of the Holy Spirit, allowing it to shape our beliefs, guide our decisions, and transform our lives.

We believe in one eternal God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—who is Creator of all things and is perfect in holiness, love, justice, power, and truth (Matthew 28:19; Deuteronomy 6:4). God exists eternally as three distinct Persons in perfect unity—the Father who creates and sustains, the Son who redeems and reconciles, and the Holy Spirit who empowers and indwells. Each Person of the Trinity is fully God, co-equal and co-eternal, dwelling in unbroken communion and expressing perfect love. God is sovereign over all creation, infinite in wisdom, unchanging in character, and faithful to every promise. He is both transcendent—high above all creation—and immanent—intimately present with His people. We worship the one true God who invites us into relationship, reveals Himself through His Word, and desires to be known personally by all who seek Him.

We believe in the virgin birth, sinless life, atoning death, bodily resurrection, ascension, and ongoing intercession of Jesus Christ. He is our risen Lord and soon-coming King. We await His glorious return to judge the living and the dead, and to establish His eternal Kingdom where righteousness dwells and all creation is restored under His reign.

We believe that God created the world in original perfection, unmarred by sin or death. Through the Fall, humanity became inherently corrupt, separated from God and in need of redemption. We affirm the necessity of repentance and regeneration by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone. Those who persist in unbelief will face eternal separation from God. Yet we also hold to the blessed hope—the return of the Lord Jesus Christ to judge the living and the dead, and to fully restore all creation, making all things new as He establishes His righteous reign on the earth.

We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit as an empowering experience for all believers, distinct from conversion, enabling them to live boldly and minister supernaturally. We embrace the operation of all spiritual gifts today for the building up of the Church and the advancement of God’s Kingdom (Acts 1:8; 1 Corinthians 12:7-11).

We believe salvation comes by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. Those who repent and believe are born again, made new in Him, and filled with the Holy Spirit to live in righteousness, power, and purpose. Through Christ's finished work, believers are justified, sanctified, and secure as they abide in Him. Justification is immediate—we are declared righteous by faith—but sanctification is progressive, as the Holy Spirit conforms us to the image of Christ through obedience, discipline, and encounter. We are called to work out our salvation with reverence, growing in holiness while resting in the assurance that we are kept by God's power. The new creation life is marked by freedom from sin's dominion, restoration of our identity as sons and daughters, and participation in God's redemptive mission. We await the resurrection, when all in Christ will be raised to share in His eternal Kingdom.

We believe the Church is the Body of Christ and the expression of His Kingdom on the earth. Every believer is called to be a functioning member of a local church where they are equipped for ministry, make disciples, and live out Kingdom mission (Ephesians 4:11-16; Matthew 28:18-20). The Church is not a building or an institution but a living organism—a spiritual family united by the blood of Jesus and empowered by the Holy Spirit. As the Ekklesia, we are called to manifest Heaven's government on earth, advancing God's purposes in every sphere of society. The local church is where believers gather for worship, teaching, fellowship, and mission, functioning as a body where every member contributes according to the grace given to them. We are called to walk in covenant relationship—bearing one another's burdens, celebrating together, and maturing in love. The Church exists to glorify God, build up believers, and reach the lost, demonstrating the reality of God's Kingdom through transformed lives and supernatural unity.

We believe that Christ has given fivefold ministry gifts—apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers—for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry. These gifts are essential for building up the Body of Christ to walk in unity, maturity, and the full measure of Christ. As each part is equipped and activated, the Church grows in love and truth, becomes spiritually discerning, and multiplies as a healthy, Spirit-led expression of Heaven’s design on earth (Ephesians 4:11–16; 1 Corinthians 3:10–11).

We believe in the personal, visible return of Jesus Christ as King of kings and Lord of lords. He will consummate His Kingdom by judging the living and the dead, rewarding the faithful, and casting down all evil. At His coming, the restoration of all things will be complete—creation will be set free from corruption, and God's original design will be fully realised as Heaven and Earth are united. Those who are in Christ will inherit eternal life in God's presence, while those who reject Him will face eternal separation. We eagerly await the day when the earth is filled with His glory, Eden is restored, and God dwells fully with His people (Acts 3:21; Revelation 21:1-5; Romans 8:18-23; Daniel 12:2; John 5:28-29).

We believe it is both a privilege and a responsibility to wisely steward all that God has entrusted to us. God owns everything, and we are His managers—accountable for how we use our time, talents, relationships, and resources. Kingdom stewardship means living with eternal perspective, investing in what lasts, and using what we have to advance God's purposes. This includes tithing and giving offerings to the local church as an act of worship and obedience.

We honour God with the firstfruits of all our increase, bringing our offerings to the house where we are spiritually fed (Proverbs 3:9-10). The principle of firstfruits means we give to God first—not from what's left over, but from the best of what He provides. This is a declaration that He is our source and that His Kingdom takes priority over every other demand. The firstfruits represent our whole harvest; by giving the first and best portion back to God, we acknowledge His ownership of everything and invite His blessing on all that remains.

Beyond our regular firstfruits giving, we also present additional offerings freely and joyfully as the Spirit leads. These gifts flow from gratitude, generosity, and faith, enabling us to respond to specific needs, sow into missions, support leaders, and advance strategic Kingdom initiatives. Our giving—whether firstfruits or freewill offerings—is an expression of trust in God's provision and a tangible way we partner with Heaven to fund the gospel, equip the saints, care for the vulnerable, and establish His Kingdom in cities, regions, and nations.

When we honour the Lord with our wealth and the firstfruits of all our produce, Scripture promises that our barns will be filled with plenty and our vats will overflow with new wine (Proverbs 3:9-10). This is not a formula for selfish gain but a covenant promise: God honours those who honour Him. As we steward our resources with wisdom and worship, we participate in the divine economy where Heaven backs those who prioritize His purposes.

Awake to His Kingdom - Kingdom Priorities

At Awake Nations, we’re not following trends—we’re building on timeless Kingdom truth. These Kingdom Priorities are the foundation of how we live, lead, and serve.

They’re more than beliefs—they’re blueprints, modelled perfectly by Jesus and meant to be lived out by His followers.

He embodied everything we pursue: the reign of God, intimacy with the Father, revival power, radical generosity, and Spirit-empowered living. Now, we carry that same culture.

We don’t just talk about these values—we live them.

This is what it means to be Awake to His Kingdom.

Our 8 Kingdom Culture Priorities

We seek first the reign and rule of God in every area of life and ministry.
This is about alignment—placing God’s purposes above personal preference, cultural trends, or religious tradition. Kingdom First means surrendering to divine order and living from Heaven’s perspective here on earth.

📖 “But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”
— Matthew 6:33 (ESV)

We prioritise the manifest Presence of God in everything we do.
This is about abiding—cultivating space through worship, prayer, and purity where God dwells. We live with reverence, hunger, and sensitivity to the Holy Spirit, not for performance, but for encounter.

📖 “My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.”
— Exodus 33:14 (ESV).

We are called to carry the fire of revival into all nations.
This is about mission—living as Spirit-empowered witnesses, releasing healing, renewal, and awakening wherever we go. We proclaim Jesus boldly, trusting the Holy Spirit to confirm the Word with supernatural power.

📖 “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses…”
— Acts 1:8 (ESV)

We make disciples through intentional, Spirit-empowered formation.
This is about becoming—walking with Jesus, growing in maturity, and doing what Jesus did. Discipleship isn’t a class—it’s a way of life rooted in Word, Spirit, and authentic community.

📖 “Him we proclaim… that we may present everyone mature in Christ.”
— Colossians 1:28 (ESV)

We expect the miraculous as a normal part of Kingdom life.

This is about power and faith—depending on the Spirit for boldness, wisdom, and signs that confirm our message. The supernatural isn’t optional—it’s essential to our witness.

📖 “The Lord worked with them and confirmed the message by accompanying signs.”
— Mark 16:20 (ESV)

We build spiritual family where everyone is known and valued.
This is about belonging—choosing covenant, honour, and shared life over independence and isolation. True family creates safe space for growth, healing, and calling.

📖 “We, though many, are one body in Christ…”
— Romans 12:5 (ESV)

We live open-handedly, giving joyfully and sacrificially.
This is about stewardship—offering our time, talents, and treasure for God’s Kingdom. Generosity reflects our Father’s heart and multiplies impact beyond what we could imagine.

📖 “God loves a cheerful giver.”
— 2 Corinthians 9:7 (ESV)

We pursue excellence empowered by the Holy Spirit—not for perfection or performance, but to honour God and reflect His glory in everything we do. Whether in worship, leadership, hospitality, or communication, we serve with intentionality, creativity, and integrity. Excellence is our offering of love and devotion.

📖 Daniel 6:3 – “Then this Daniel became distinguished above all the other high officials and satraps, because an excellent spirit was in him.”

📖 “Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men.”
— Colossians 3:23 (ESV)
